ABOUT THE BLOG

Hello, my name's Nick Hughes and that's me on the right in that photo when I was writing and directing films. When I wasn't doing those things I was helping other writers and directors make theirs. I am also a conservative by political and social inclination:  "Somewhere on the Right" as I used to describe myself...which is a pretty difficult thing to be if you're working in film and TV production. But I managed to eke out a career in film and TV production for 20 years and now I've branched out into other things, including being a pundit on the media, history and politics. This site is where I set forth my ideas on those subjects whereas my comedy and production work is still over at www.rhubba.com.
